Space City Soundscapes: An Organ Concert of Cosmic Proportions

Explore the universe through music as St. Luke's Organist and Artist-in-Residence Jim Roman presents a concert on the Pillot Memorial Organ featuring music inspired by the mystery and wonder of outer space. Selections will include familiar favorites from movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Arrival, Interstellar and Star Wars in addition to original organ music such as James Whitbourn's 'Apollo,' a work commissioned by Jim that tells the story of NASA's Apollo 8 space flight through music. This concert is offered as a World Space Week event.
